How to Delete a Record

Forms or tasks that are created in error, during testing, or are duplications are able to be deleted.  As this is a permanent action, the following has been implemented as part of the process:
  • Only ERM Authorised Contacts and the Owner of the form/task can delete the record
  • Only one Form ID can be deleted at a time
  • A reason for the deletion must be provided.

It is recommended that you keep a record of all Form ID number deletions should you require a copy of the audit log. See How to View the Deleted Forms Log.


To Delete a Form ID

1. Search for the Form ID to be deleted, click on the 'History' tab and click on 'Delete Record'.

2. Type in the reason for the deletion e.g. duplicate form or completed in error and click 'Delete Record'.  NB You will not be able to delete the record without completing this section.


3. Click 'Confirm' that you wish to delete the record.  Please note if there are any Child Forms associated with the form you will receive a message asking if you wish to delete the child forms as well.


4. You will receive a confirmation message that the record has been deleted.  Click 'OK'.


5. The message 'No Access: SHF1' confirms that the record is no longer accessible.
