Scheduled Work Order Requests

By scheduling a work order request you are able to build a preventative maintenance schedule. This is done by making the scheduled work order request a template which will automatically generate a new request based on the template and appear as an open facilities request.

To create a template, click on the 'New Request' button and complete the request for the work you want to schedule.

When you get to the 'Status' field, change this to 'Scheduled' and the following fields will appear for completion:-

Next Run
This is the date that you want the system to automatically generate a new request.

How many days after creation will this request be due
This number will calculate and then populate the 'Due Date' based on the run date.

Recurrence
Choose either 'Days' or 'Months' for when the template will run

If you choose 'Days:

  • enter the number of days that the work order request will generate

If you choose 'Months':

  • the 'Day' must match the start day in your 'Next Run' field ie: Next Run: 27/03/2018 = Day: 27
  • enter the number of months that the work order request will generate.

Click on the 'Submit' button and the information will be saved.

The entry will then display to enable you to assign a Contractor to the work order request template if required.
